Terms & Conditions

Reservations
Reservation requests can be made by completing our Trip Reservation Package and faxing, emailing or mailing it to our offices. Once availability has been verified, you will receive a TRIP CONFIRMATION email letting you know that your reservation has been confirmed. Please note that the sending of your reservation request in itself does not constitute a confirmed reservation.

 

Payment Schedule

 Internal Air: Your Internal Air payment will be processed upon your trip being confirmed

 

Land Costs: Your Land Costs payment is due 30 days prior to the trip start date as listed in your itinerary

Trips reserved less than 30 days from the trip start date must be paid in full 1 week from receipt of your Trip Reservation Package.

 

We accept checks or major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, AMEX & Discover). Credit card payments may be made by calling 1-800-504-2160 or by faxing, emailing or mailing the payment authorization form included in your Trip Reservation Package to our offices. Please note that a signed Payment Authorization form will be required for all credit card payments, even if you are paying by phone. If paying by check, please make payable to Argentina Adventure and mail to:

Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds
Our cancellations, rescheduling and refunds policies were created to minimize fees and offer our members flexibility while having to factor in cancellation and change clauses we must honor with our suppliers. For best protection, you should consider including cancellation and interruption coverage as part of the independent travel insurance we suggest you purchase prior to your trip.

 

Cancellations A trip is defined as cancelled when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your trip. In the event of a cancellation, the applicable section of our refund policy will apply depending on the date of your cancellation request.

 

Once a trip is cancelled, Argentina Adventure is not responsible for providing any services to you.

 

Rescheduled Trips

 A Rescheduled Trip is defined as a change to the originally booked trip start date without a significant modification in the number of trip days or services. For all rescheduled trips, you are responsible for paying any trip related service rate increases or change fees that our operators may charge in association with changing your original trip dates.

 

We permit changing your originally booked dates as follows:

 

You may reschedule the original trip start date to another date within 12 months of your original trip start date. The approval of your rescheduled trip is subject to receiving written notice of your requested rescheduled trip start date, operator availability and your prior agreement of payment of any operator rate increases or change fees that may apply. Your rescheduled trip will only be considered confirmed once we notify you in writing.

 

Refunds

Land Costs

Land costs are all costs paid to Argentina Adventure except for airfare costs associated with booked flights within Argentina and/or between Argentina, Chile and Uruguay that are billed separately. Land Costs are refundable as follows:

 

1. If we receive written notification of your trip cancellation request 30 days or more prior to the original trip start date, we will refund you the total of any land costs paid to us without penalty.

 

2. If we receive written confirmation of your trip cancellation request less than 30 days prior to the original trip start date, we will contact our operators individually and will request that they issue a credit for the land cost services to be cancelled. We will then refund you the total amount of services where our operators have extended us a credit for future use.

 

Please note that partial refunds will not be issued should you choose to not to participate in any part of your original or rescheduled trip itinerary while traveling.

 

Flight Costs

Flight Costs are all costs paid to Argentina Adventure and billed separately for flight services within Argentina and/or between Argentina,Chile and Uruguay. Flight Costs are not refundable by the airlines (unless a special exception is made by the Airline) but can be rescheduled for future use up to 9 months after the tickets have been issued.

In the event of a cancellation, rescheduling request or otherwise, Argentina Adventure is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by travelers preparing for their trip such as international airfare, clothing and equipment purchased, nor for any other compensation.

 

Itinerary Modifications

We always do our best to keep to the itinerary scheduled but it is subject to change for factors beyond our control such as, but not limited to, flight and activity cancellations, delays. weather conditions and activity inoperability for certain dates on rescheduled trips.

 

Client Information and Travel Documents

You will be responsible for providing correct information regarding personal details submitted to Argentina Adventure and will also be responsible for having a valid passport and any required tourist visas with you while you travel.

 

Physical Health and Fitness

Our trips are designed for people of reasonably good health and fitness levels. Signing up for activities that are beyond your physical capacities will only hinder your experience and could potentially harm you. We provide an activity chart in each of our trip itineraries with definitions for our rating system. Please make sure you are comfortable with your trip’s activity level as the trip host and or guide reserves the right to retain you during any portion of the trip if he or she feels that your participation will jeopardize yourself or your traveling companions.

 

Trip Cost Fluctuations
Trip costs are subject to increase until we have confirmed your trip. We often publish our prices more than a year in advance. Between that time and the time of your trip confirmation, on very rare occasions we may be faced with significant land cost increases that stem from international currency fluctuations. It is also possible that flight fares quoted during our proposals have since changed. In the event of any cost fluctuations, we will notify you and seek your approval prior to processing your payment.
